whatshouldjohndotoday is going on hiatus

After two weeks of daily assignments, John is going to pause and regroup.  For now, he wants to get onto a weekly schedule.  Stand by for a new poll in the next day or so.

Day 15: Walk down the street on a sunny day in a raincoat and boots and umbrella.

Went for a little Gene Kelly vibe.

Day 14: Paint his toenails green.

It's a color called Lime Lights.

Day 13: Tell a bad joke.

Actually, the joke and shopping for lingerie tied, so John flipped a coin.

Q:  What's brown and sticky?

A:  A stick.

Day 12: Go to CraftBoston Holiday show

He bought two vases similar to the ones in the picture.  The woman harvests different kind of plant stems, dries them for a year, then lines the inside with layers of lacquer to make them waterproof.  Very Zen and they ought to look great in John's apartment.

Day 11: Write a poem.

A tender Haiku on transience and loss . . .

To build a card house?

Lo, an exercise in woe

I still have my cold

Day 10: Check for bellybutton lint.

John has a cold and is doped up on Nyquil, so we closed the poll early today.  It was a close contest between "walk down the street eating a big bowl of soup" and "check for bellybutton lint," but the lint carried the day.
